Document Subject: Orphaned Agent Data Notes Cause Performance Problems

If you receive an error message "Insufficient memory -- too many design elements (Desk Design Pool)" it is probably because of Orphaned Agent Data Notes. These design notes are created when using agents. They are the reason why when you copy a database there seems to be too many design elements involved.

The orphaned shared agent data notes store agent log information.

These notes are created when agents are run in strange ways, or when agents are run and then saved while they are being run etc.

You can fix this problem by running a Compact Agent Tool program available from Lotus.

Search for this on knowledge base or on the lotus support web site.
